Dear DJ Wunder..thank you..I think 1 year ago I tried to plug in my HDD to a MAC PC running SSL, but my folders did not get listed in serato. Thought there might be another way to tell Serato 'read this crate folder'.

What I mean is..when you browse files you can check or uncheck tag information such as album, year, author..can't I display other ID3Tags besides those that are supported by Serato?
It's like this: the 'added' tag is nice, but what if I start a new crate directory? All files will have the today 'added' date and I can't edit this field. I need 1 tag that I can edit myself using a date that will tell when I have added the track to my HDD. Right now I use the 'comment' tag that tells me if an track is error free and when I have added this track.
comment tag:'checked 20111014'
this way I will have all the new added tracks on top of all my songs and I don't have to search for them once I have moved them to different folders. Maybe you have a better suggestion on how to use the added field.
