Omnisphere 2 Unable To Access Plugin Folder
- Jun 07, 2018 Hey guys, I'm having trouble with 'Spectrasonics - Omnisphere 2' when I move the library to an external hardrive. After a long search for solutions on the internet was quite easy just change the permissions folder and all. See picture fix it.
- If Keyscape, Omnisphere, Trilian or Stylus RMX generate an invalid Challenge code, perform the following steps to allow successful authorization: Open C:ProgramData (NOTE: ProgramData is hidden by default, use Show Hidden Files to see it) Right-Click on the Spectrasonics folder and select Properties In.
- The STEAM folder does not have write permission. Locate STEAM folder in the Finder. Select the 'Get Info' option. Set your privilege to 'Read & write'. Repeat for all subfolders.

Computer>C Drive>Program Files(86)>Image-line>FL Studio 11>Plugins>VST.
Ha ha!!! NO! The installation selection did not allow me to crack open the Plugins folder. Dead end.
'Alright' I thought, 'I'll just install it in the Steinberg folder it seems to be fixated on, then go in and cut/paste it into the VST folder later. WRONG AGAIN!!!
After cutting it I moved to the VST folder and selected past. It then told me I was not allowed to do this because it was a DLL file.
Ooooooooh'kaaaaay.
So now I thought. 'Well that's okay, I'll just go into FL Studio to Options>File Settings and click on an empty folder, find the Steinberg file and go into it and assign Omnisphere to that slot.
