I want to reach out to the FL Studio community to see if you guys can help me iron out a problem that I've been having.

Good BPM detection Software?? Been looking at getting some software to scan BPM's for my collection of music I tried looking up mixmeister but found dead links and Mixx and Virtual DJ take quite a while to update. I just want to have everything scanned and matched to the files so I don't have to rescan all over again when I change hardware. Good BPM detection Software?? Go back up to the tempo box and enter in the tempo for part b. Right click and click copy value. Go to the point on the clip where you want your tempo to change, right click and click paste value. It should go to 100bpm perfectly. Oct 31, 2018 It just seems really odd to me that when I import a 104 BPM FL Studio wav file into the Pro Tools session and set it to 104 BPM it's off the grid and doesn't line up perfectly. It's very very close, but no cigar.

I use both FL Studio and Pro Tools for different tasks in my music making. For recording my music instrumentals I use FL Studio and then I bring the bounced down stereo wav file into Pro Tools to record the vocals. However, I'm running into issues with the timing. Simple time BPM (beats per minute) seem to be slightly off? Wouldn't a standard tempo like 104 be the exact same in both DAWs? But somehow it's off the Pro Tools grid ever so slightly making it difficult for me to copy and paste certain vocal and/or musical parts.

I was hoping that someone here can help me resolve this issue. Although it's off only milliseconds by the end of a 4-minute song that really starts to add up.
So the bottom line basic question: Why don't both DAWs keep the same perfect time like beats per minute? How can I get them both to be the exact same?

Thanks in advance. Any help or insight that you can give me on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Carly
